We will be at PetSmart this Friday, February 17th through Sunday, February 19th from 10-6 for their Adoption Fair. 

Important message from our Volunteer Agreement

As volunteers we are representing the Humane Society of Davidson County

  • We will strive to maintain an attitude of respect, loyalty, patience, integrity and courtesy.
  • We will always treat animals, other volunteers, and the public with respect.
  • If we discontinue volunteering, or upon request by HSDC, we will promptly return all HSDC supplies, equipment, records, animals, moneys, and other items in good, clean condition.

3rd Wednesday (Monthly)----Spay/Neuter Transport-----HSDC property 1114 Piedmont Dr. Lexington 7:00 am

1st Wednesday Monthly---PET FOOD PANTRY-----1114 Piedmont Dr. Lexington, 2 pm to 4 pm

Saturdays---Adoption Fairs---PetSmart or Tractor Supply, Lexington, NC 11 am -3 pm

2nd Monday Monthly---Humane Society meetings---DCCC - Mendenhall Building, room 200 or 226, 7 pm (Please check our facebook page the week before for exact location)







The Humane Society of Davidson County  


The Humane Society of Davidson County is a non-profit organization consisting of an all-volunteer membership and Board of Directors. We are a community resource, dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, the relief of suffering among animals and the extension of humane education. We seek to provide care for abused, abandoned, and neglected animals in our community, to provide temporary and permanent homes for them and to inspire responsible pet/family relationships. We work with like-minded community groups. Members will at all times act in a manner reflecting our values, integrity, respect, honesty and compassion for animals and for each other.
